transitioning to the crib
Moved ds from the pnp to crib about 3/4 weeks. Nothing special. But we were really lucky, he's been amazing. He was in the nicu his first week in the isolette then bassinet, and moved to the pnp and crib really easily. He never liked being fully swaddled, but I would swaddle his legs and keep his arms free.

Did it for naps first. Elevated the matrress because they were sleeping in rock and play before that. Didn't transition until about 4-6 months so they were very used to the rock and play.

Transitioned him at 2 weeks and we did nothing special. DH and I slept much better once he was out of our room - he was the loudest breather ever!!

transitioning to the crib
Just put her in the crib at 5w and hoped for the best! Luckily she did exceptionally well.
We'll be doing the same for DD2 at 5w.
She was swaddled in both the RNP and crib

Early worked well for dd1. We moved her around 7 weeks. Stayed her in the bassinet and then moved her after our motn feeding bc she was a noisy sleeper in the morning. Within a few days she was in the crib full time.
We waited much longer with dd2 and it has not gone well!

Re: transitioning to the crib
We did it when my DS was around 8 weeks. We used a crib wedge underneath the crib sheet to elevate his head since he slept in the rock n play and was used to sleeping on an incline.
DD currently is in the rock n play and we will probably do the same when we transition her. I tried putting her in her crib on day 1 and she hated it so into the rock n play she went lol
