I believe the Chelsea is a smoke-free hotel, but the casinos all allow it in certain areas. I found this info in an article on-line:
Revel Casino made headlines in 2012 when it opened Atlantic City's only entirely nonsmoking casino. In less than a year, it found itself in Chapter 11 bankruptcy and reversed its smoke-free policy. Casinos are the last frontier of indoor smoking after New Jersey's 2006 Smoke-Free Air Act that prohibits smoking in indoor public places, including restaurants and office buildings. But smoking zones can only total 25 percent of a casino's floor space, meaning you'll be able to gamble smoke-free in each of the city's dozen casinos.

This is one of many reasons I miss Revel!
I didn't know the Chelsea even had a casino!!

Chelsea does not have a casino. It's the only non Casino hotel in the AC area.

Ok, I totally read the original line incorrectly. I didn't think they did.
I wish someone would buy Revel and keep it going the way it was but lower the prices of the rooms.
