Town of Babylon recreation permit
How do these permits work? I'm specifically interested in the spray park at Venetian Shores. Does the permit have your name on it? And when you go in do you need to show the permit & your license, or just the permit? My real question is if my brother who lives in Linderhurst got a permit would my family be able to use it? Thanks!

We haven't bought yet because we live within walking distance of the park but I'm pretty sure it's a sticker to go on your car so multiple people can't use it.
The parks are already flooded enough with people who shouldn't be there, especially when the spray park opens.

When you buy the permit, they write your registration right on it I believe and then they put it on your car. They don't want people being able to buy it for non-TOB residents. Once you are through the gates, you don't have to show anything else.

Town of Babylon recreation permit
When I lived in Babylon, you had to show more than just your license to get one - I think license and utility bill, or maybe car registration. They put the sticker on your car window right there and I think they even "slice" it (make an X through it so that the sticker itself was 4 pieces), so that you can't just peel it off and stick it on another car. They also wrote the license plate # on the sticker. (It's been about 4 years, but they were really strict about it when I lived there)

I just bought my TOB permit yesterday. I had to show my drivers license and my registration. They had to have a matching address. I brought my PSEGLI bill as a backup, but I didn't need it.
They put the sticker (permit) on my truck. It can't be transferred.
For Venetian, you need to have a town park pass on your vehicle to enter the parking lot. Non residents are no longer allowed to use the park during daytime hours.
If your brother got the recreation pass, you would have to borrow his car in order to get into Venetian.
You can purchase a town rec pass at Phelps Lane thru June 26th. After that, park passes can be purchased at Cedar Beach and Tanner park. You can't purchase a park pass at Venetian at any time.
