Pediatrician recommendation- North Shore please
Hi everyone,
Looking for a small practice where our children will only see the same pediatrician and that is flexible with spacing out vaccinations.
Any recommendations? Im looking to switch after our current drs office got too busy...

I'll give you the three I have - throughout Suffolk.
I do not know of any in Nassau, off-hand, but North Shore Suffolk I do...
My boyfriend's two boys go to Kids First Pediatrics in Port Jefferson Station... 631-331-7267. They also have a location in Wading River. Two docs: Dr. Oleszak (female) and Dr. Forletti (male). Both are wonderful. You can choose one and see just that doctor or choose to see either of them, and rotate depending on availability but it is great because it's not like it's an office where there are five or six docs - and they communicate so well between the two of them. They are good about spacing shots as my boyfriend did that with his kids.
Dr. Lee Kurfist - Northport... 631-424-1741. He is a male and my good friend takes her sons there. She is very particular and I know he is a great doctor and she is very pleased with him. She also spaced out shots and Dr. Kurfist was very supportive.
Dr. Amy Goldberg... 631-585-4440. Female - this is who I go to. She is in Lake Grove on 347. She is wonderful, one doc practice, just her. I have her cell phone for emergencies. I have called her at times and she always picks up and is courteous and understanding. She is very affectionate, down to earth, and she was super supportive about spacing the shots. I love her. My son loves her. She is a doll. The office is great too - small staff, every single person knows Julian's name and all about him. It's great.

We use Dr. Decerina Uy. She is in Rocky Point. She is very flexible with the vaccinations and timeline for administering them.

Another vote for Dr. Goldberg if you're looking in Suffolk. We've been with her from the beginning she is just amazing. She knows your child and she knows you.

Pediatrician recommendation- North Shore please
If Nassau, I really liked Dr. Stern in Manhasset. He saw my LO while at NSUH. If we lived closer we'd use him.

Oh shit yeah it's Huntington -- sorry, in my memory it's on the border and I got confused.
I went there once with my girlfriend and her kids - nice doc :)
