Anyone know placement of two carseats?
I keep reading different things on sites so now im confused. Will have a newborn carseat and a convertible seat for my two year old.

We are doing infant behind passenger and convertible behind driver.

Anyone know placement of two carseats?
Most do infant on the passenger side and toddler on the driver Side. Depending on the seats and how they fit would really be the determining factor though.
"Textbook" states least protected child in the middle. So if your toddler is foward facing they would go in the middle and the infant on either side. If you toddler is rear facing then the infant would go in the middle and the toddler on the side.

We will probably have them each sit outboard since I don't think I'll be able to get a good install in the middle.

This is what we did too but only because our toddler was already behind the passenger I didn't feel like moving the seat. I think I'd prefer the infant on the passenger side

In my car, convertible is behind passenger and infant is behind driver. In DH's car, convertible is behind driver and infant is behind passenger. I don't think it makes a difference where the car seats are, but we do it this way b/c DH is tall and needs his seat pushed back farther than me, so this gives him more room behind his seat.

we had infant behind driver and convertible behind passenger bc we didn't want to move DD. But now DS is in convertible rear facing and still behind driver.
