is it a norm to ask to want to meet the people who will be taking care of my daughter at daycare?

Re: Daycare

Yes normal.
When I toured my center they took me into the infant room and I met the teachers, spoke with them at length, etc.

Daycare

Yes!!! DH and I took tours of daycares when I was 16 weeks pregnant starting the process. I put him on wait list at the one he's at now (I still can't believe we got an opening).

Re: Daycare

absolutely.

i got several tours, was told to drop in whenever i wanted so i could see them "unprepared" and i was even able to drop off my son before he began, an hour here and an hour there to get used to the idea of leaving him -- and for him to get used to the environment.
