Clairitin ?
Did anyone's dc react to Clairitin? Like behavior wise?
I gave dd one does this morning, reditabs, for the first time ever and since she's been acting like a total animal.
I ask b/c a friend said her daughter was nasty on it and now I'm wondering.
Could the first dose just an hour ago really affect her like this?

Clairitin ?
Please let me know if you see a difference. I have 5 yr old the redi tabs and an hour later she was nuts. I have 2 yr old the liquid at the same time and now she's an emotional mess lol. She's just crying and everything bothers her. We a re a mess here lol.
I don't think I will give it to them again. What a waste of money for me.

Clairitin ?
I never did (took it by prescription from a VERY young age as a liquid)... doesn't really make much sense, I would get it if it was with the D because decongestants can act as stimulants... but Claritin is relatively benign. That said, everybody reacts to meds differently...

Clairitin ?
Yes....gave it once a few weeks ago and my 8 year old was acting weird...like she was on acid...although I don't even know how people act on that lol. My friend said it was like that for her kids also. I found Benadryl to be a better option

Thank you. I don't think I'd being doing it again. She was nasty, rude, mean, hyper, crazy, crying, every emotion there could be we had since 8am. It's been nuts.

Re: Clairitin ?
DS is 5 and he has been only the grape chewables since Mother's Day. No reactions at all. He feels a ton better.

Clairitin ?
So here's my update... DD is who almost 3 did not have any behavioral reaction from a chewable Claritin. It actually did nothing for her runny nose (her only allergy symptom so far). Onto somethin else that will work but not make her sleepy.

Re: Clairitin ?
We use Zyrtec 12 hour and my dd doesn't have any reaction to it (though it doesn't last 12 hours for her). She does have a reaction to benedryl though! She is so strange...so I only give it at night if possible (she needs it in addition to her allergy meds often).

Clairitin ?
Thanks for the update. I didn't give it to do today and she was her normal almost 5 yr old self. Lol. Obnoxious and hyper :), but not a psychopath lol.
I won't be given it again. Ever lol
I was told to try Allegra.
