Animal activists crash Kim Kardashian book signing and call her 'the most disgusting human being on this planet'

Around 10 animal activists angrily confronted Kim Kardashian at her Selfish book signing in Manhattan Tuesday.
Animal New York shared a video montage of the protesters' encounters with the unsuspecting 34-year-old, which were booed by her fans waiting in line.
'I just want to say, you are the most disgusting human being on this planet,' a tattooed gentleman yelled at the Dior-clad reality star, who had just cheerily greeted him.

'Shame on you for supporting the fur industry!'
One protester told Kim she was 'a terrible person,' and another asked Kardashian to make his autograph out to 'all the animals that have been killed for you to wear a fur coat.'
However, the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star appeared unruffled each time, never responding, and never breaking her expression.

'She didn't really have much to say,' one of the activists - Jaime Lee - told Business Insider.
'She can't say anything to defend herself. She has access to the information.'
Each activist - many of which waited in line for seven hours - was escorted out the Fifth Avenue Barnes & Noble by security.

Several of them held signs of the raven-haired socialite Photoshopped holding dead rabbits and chanted: '50 dead animals, one fur coat!'
It was an ominous beginning to Kim's promotional book tour for her 448-page tome consisting of a decade worth of selfies.
The vainglorious star maintains her marketable appeal thanks to her impressive, combined 87.3M followers on Twitter/Instagram/Facebook.

This was hardly the first time Kardashian has been targeted for her unabashed love of leather and fur goods.
Back in 2012, PETA member Christina Cho flour-bombed the 5ft3in fashionista at the launch of her True Reflection perfume in West Hollywood.
The powdery incident led to Kim's sister Khloé disassociating herself from the animal rights organisation.

'I will no longer support PETA. Bullying and harassment is NEVER a solution, and I won't be a part of any organization that thinks otherwise,' the former X Factor host wrote on her website at the time.
The former sex tape star was last seen wearing a sheer and feathered Roberto Cavalli gown with husband Kanye West at Sunday's Met Gala.
Kim and the 21-time Grammy winner - who are parents to 23-month-old daughter North - will celebrate their first wedding anniversary on May 24.

While at her troubled signing on Tuesday, the mother-of-one revealed her biggest fear with her stepfather Bruce Jenner's gender affirmation.
'I mean, for me, the biggest fear was Bruce stealing my glam team,' she told New York Magazine.
'You gotta figure out the makeup stuff and all that, but I can’t just give you my team. You need to find your own. I don’t want to try to book my people and find out they’re busy that night with Bruce.'
Kardashian will appear on the two-part Keeping Up With the Kardashians: About Bruce special, which airs May 17-18 on E!
