Lake George or Wildwood NJ
I'm looking at last minute family rentals for a group of adults and very young kids. (Avg age is 2). I've never been to rather place so I'm wondering which would be the better option.
TIA

Wildwood. I'm a fan of the jersey shore and do not like lake swimming.

I can't judge since I've never been to Wildwood. However, I have gone to Lake George every year since 2009 and I've never swam in the lake--even if we wanted to we just don't have enough time bc there's so much to do there!

We have only been to Wildwood, and it's great. So clean, and family friendly. I looked into Lake George, and just couldn't find a ton to do that would entertain my family. Everyone says it's great, I just never saw the appeal, so never booked.

This is my concern. My son will 2 months shy of 2yrs old in July. Are there things to do there with young toddlers?

If you like the beach - Wildwood. I've been to both and was thorough bored at LG after 2 days even though we did a variety of stuff. I go to the Jersey shore every year and won't be returning to LG again.

If you decide on Wildwood, just keep in mind that while there is plenty of other stuff to do, the beach is about a mile from Boardwalk to water, and bathrooms were few and far between. With two little ones who love the beach, it wasn't ideal for us.

It's definitely a hike from the boardwalk to the water, but it's not a mile lol.

I am a Jersey Shore girl through and through. I prefer Ocean City, NJ, to Wildwood. Extremely family friendly, less of a hike to water and an overall nicer crowd in my opinion. :)
