MMR Rash
DS had the MMR on 4/8. He started breaking out in a measles like rash about 3 days ago and today he is covered. He was at the doc for an unrelated matter yesterday and he said it was okay - but it just doesn't seem right! Anyone experience the MMR rash? How long does it last? Thanks!

Re: MMR Rash
My DD got it about 10 days after the vaccine. It's scary looking! It lasted about a week and then finally started getting lighter and then went away. Luckily it never seemed to bother her, so we just left it alone and waited for it to disappear.

Re: MMR Rash
My ds also got a rash after the MMR. It kinda just disappeared but it was a couple days. He also got a couple pox when he had the varicella vaccine so I wasn't so surprised when it happened. Both times the rash didn't seem to bother him.

Re: MMR Rash
Thanks Ladies! My mother has me worried that I'm ignoring something that could be wrong - I just HATE to take him to the doc again. But the rash looks worse today so I may just take him. Ugh.
