Sesame Place/Dutch Wonderland: How many days and what else to do?
We're planning to go to Sesame Place and Dutch Wonderland this summer. Our boys will be 3 and 6.5. We're planning on spending 1 night near Sesame and maybe spending 1.5 days at Sesame Place. Is there anything else worth seeing around there? Any recommendations on where to stay?
Then, we'll head to Dutch Wonderland. I wasn't sure how many days to spend in that area and what else to see. Is it worth going to Hershey at that age? Any suggestions on what else to do and how many days yo spend in the area?

I took DS at 2 yo to Dutch Wonderland and Hershey. There was actually a lot at Hershey to do with him even at that age, so your kids being a little older I would highly recommend it. My Ds liked Hershey more than Dutch Wonderland to be honest. He STILL talks about it 3 years later.
I would stay at the Eden Resort near DW, spend a day at DW and a day or day and a half at Hershey. And Eden has a great pool/water play area for the kids for when you just feel like relaxing or spending some time at the hotel.

As long as you get a nice warm sunny day sesame place is awesome for those ages. Go during the week when it's far less crowded. We got season passes this year. It's about a 1/2 hour to the please touch museum which is fun but get there early and don't go on a rainy day because it gets very crowded

I think 1 day for Sesame Place is enough, if you have time I would go to Philly which is not far away and check out the Please Touch Museum.

Re: Sesame Place/Dutch Wonderland: How many days and what else to do?
The only reason I was thinking of spending part of a second day at Sesame was because I thought the admission was free for the second day (could be wrong) and DS2 would probably want to go back. We went to Please Touch when DS2 was a newborn. The kids would probably love it. Thanks for the suggestion. I have no sense of direction. Is it on the way to Lancaster or out of the way to go to the Please Touch museum after Sesame, but before Lancaster?
