Re: binkes

We just cut down to bedtime and car rides if she wants it then. I guess at some point we'll have to get rid of it all together but for now it keeps her asleep and that matters more Chat Icon

Yes, I did that with my son and it worked and no cox socie . I dont think a 6 month old understands all gone.

I guess the earliar the better...meaning its probably easier to do it earliar. For the past few months we have only been giving it to Ava for naps and bedtime. I think I read a couple weeks back about someone cutting the tip of the nipple off of the pacifier and then the kid just rejected it on his own.

Not at all! Gabriella never had one and Gianni had one very limitedly until 4 months.

Re: binkes

I'm thinking the same thing too. I want Peyton to get rid of it soon. She'll be 6 months this month and I'm thinking it is time.

I personally think the binkie is more for me than her. I find that it calms her (or me Chat Icon ) when she's restless.

Let me know how it goes with you.

Re: binkes

We were pretty much through with the binkie and then teething started. We gave it back to her to help her sleep and it worked. Now I will wait for a few more teeth to come in and then I will get rid of them, hopefully by 1 year.
