when did you pack your hospital bag and wash baby clothes?
Does anyone have a good list for a FTM, too?
I'm 29 weeks so I think I have time but I like to plan ahead and just want to make sure I'm not missing anything.
Thanks!

I packed my bag early bc I am a planner and like to have everything ready ahead of time! I also remember packing a lot of extra stuff that I didn't end up wearing or using! I actually wore a light pair of sweatpants with a sports bra and tank top while I was there. Definites: Comfy outfit Sports bra or nursing bra Regular underwear! Socks Slippers Nipple cream Chapstick (definite bc your lips get so dry!) Lifesavers or sucky candies Magazines/ book Charger for phone Basic toiletries (shampoo, cond, soap, deodorant, toothpaste, toothbrush, etc) Towel Pads Brush Baby outfit
That's all I can think of off the top of my head but I ended up packing so much stuff and didn't use any of it lol. Basically the stuff you would bring if you stayed overnight somewhere. I also had my son 1130 Thursday night and went home Saturday 11 am so I really only needed one outfit that I wore Friday and then home. If you stay longer you could always have dh bring another outfit or just pack it just in case!
Washing baby clothes, I think I did the newborn stuff after my shower which was like 6 weeks before my due date!

I was about 28/29 weeks when I got my bag together. I have a history of preterm deliveries so I tend to pack early. Not sure where you're delivering but if it's Winthrop pack granny panties they are cheap when it comes to giving you more than one. Definitely a pacifier since most hospitals don't give them out. Even if you don't plan to use it pack anyway you never know. I also recommend you take your own sanitary napkins if you are bleeding light the hospital ones can be annoying.

Started packing it around 35-36 weeks and slowly added to it. Definitely overpacked and didn't need most of the stuff that was in there.
Never washed the baby stuff.
ETA:
Must haves for me:
Zip up hoodie Tank top Yoga pants/sweats Basic Toiletries Phone charger Hair tie/clip And believe it or not.... Depends Silhouettes. Yes. Depends underwear. Great for postpartum bleeding b/c you just throw them out instead of ruining your underwear. Outfit for baby to go home
Also, I barely needed anything at first but I was induced. Poor DH was lugging my bag, his bag, our coats for 2 days and all I needed were my toiletries and phone charger. Next time, I'll probably just bring in my charger and toiletries and then have DH bring the bag w/ everything else after I give birth.

I didn't, I planned on packing and doing everything at 36 weeks and ended up going in and getting induced the Tuesday before hitting 36 weeks. I ended up having DH run to our house after he got to the hospital after a long day of work (he ran over around midnight) and we gave my mom a whole bunch of ds's clothes to wash.

I planned to do it around 36/37 weeks but never got the chance. I delivered at 35 weeks and didn't bring so much as my toothbrush.
I stayed at the hospital for 5 nights and the only things I needed were basic toiletries, loose pants, nursing tanks, hoodies, granny panties (stonybrook doesn't give anything) phone charger, flip flops, water bottle, snacks, hand lotion. I also had someone bring my hands free bra bc I had to pump.
I had washed things a few weeks before but ended up needing preemie clothes at first so thankfully some people were nice enough to get those and wash them for us.
