Standing up on her own..
For the past few days Emily has been doing a better job at walking while holding onto things --- like her playwall and this great shopping cart we got unopened in the box at a yard sale!
And then this afternoon at my FIL's he walked into the room and she was holding onto something and had a toy in one hand, and let go and just stood there completely unsupported for a good 10-15 seconds! My FIL and I just stood there in shock!
This is going WAY too fast! It's a whirlwind, to put it lightly!!!

I am so trilled with how much she changes each week -- amazed, excited, and completely in love with it...
but sometimes I want my little lump of a baby back who just lays in my arms!!!

Re: Standing up on her own..
It's going TOO fast! Joseph's been completely walking unassisted for 2 weeks now. It's wonderful because I feel so proud of him and terrible because he's not a "baby" anymore. If it weren't for his mushiness and eagerness to hug me and squish me and sit with me I think I'd be so sad watching him walk away...

oh I know. I hate to say this - because really I am so happy - but planning her 1st bday and seeing that she is really a toddler now is depressing me a little bit.

Re: Standing up on her own..
Oh goodness! Emily loves the bathroom too, ever since we've been giving her baths in the big tub and taking her in the shower with us
However her favorite is the garbage pail.
