I need a simple solution....
We have two small sedans and in each we have the britax marathon in the middle seat. The air conditioner vents are blocked by the carseat so between the heavy material of the britax and the blocked AC it gets so hot in the car for Sydney. I was looking to see if there was a fan or something that I could buy that would help keep it cool back there. Any suggestions? I also dont have tinted windows and I bought the stick on shades but they dont seem to help too much.

is there a reason why you don't put the carseat behind the passenger seat instead? it works well there too and its convenient when taking them in and out..just a thought

The middle is the safest. But I don't know if I would put any other additional object in the car like a fan in case it gets knocked around and could injure the baby. If its that hot, I would consider moving them to the side for now.

I also suggest putting the carseat on the side also. I have mine their and I actually like it and I find the base of the carseat fits so much better.
