Please recommend your DC's play kitchen.
My sister and sil want to get my DDs a play kitchen. Which do your children have, and would you recommend it? Looking for something durable and not over-the-top. I reassured them that anything would be fine, but they told me to choose one.

I like the wood kidkraft ones by look, and fell in love and bought one, but I have to say, it's not holding up, even after 1 week of use and parts came damaged (which they do replace - for only 90 days) but it took over 4 hours for DH to put together and it will be difficult to just swap out the bad pieces. My other friend got a plastic one she absolutely loves. I don't think those will get very damaged, she said its holding up great

We've had the wooden ones one for over 2 years. Kids play with it daily, it's still looking perfect.

We have one of the wooden kid kraft ones for DD and we love it. It hasn't shown many signs of wear in the 9mo we've had it so far. It did take my DH and Dad about 6 hrs to put together though. One piece was mislabeled and they didn't realize it until they had already been assembling for a few hrs. They were less than pleased.

I have a plastic one and it's fantastic. DS plays with it every day. Not sure of exact brand.

We have a wooden one from Ikea, we got it for DS when he was 19 months old, now at 3 he still loves it and plays with it almost daily.

We have a wooden kidkraft one that's beautiful. It's espresso and so pretty BUT I wish I had gotten a step2 plastic one or any plastic one that makes noise. I think it would have been much more fun for my DD.

We have the really narrow one from step2 to accommodate our apartment space. Honestly, I couldn't imagine needing a bigger one. It's got stove, oven, fridge, microwave, sink.
