Orthopedist for DD's feet?
One of my twin DD's feet are leaning in... both feet, and they lean inward. She even looks pigeon toed sometimes, but it's an illusion.
She's 21 months old. I'm concerned.
Should we see a podiatrist or Orthopedist?
Recommendations in Nassau or the city welcomed

Orthopedist for DD's feet?
DD's ankles turn a bit inward as well. I honestly never noticed it until her physical therapist mentioned it. I'm not sure who I would go to (our orthopedist was not the greatest) but maybe ask the ped. DD's therapist recommended just waiting it out for now and that it could correct itself. I have to remember to ask the ped's opinion at our next well visit.

I would go to an ortho. I am pigeon toed and saw an ortho very early on.

It's fine to see an ortho, but pigeon toeing is a normal variant and they don't usually treat it these days. My sons ped says some of the worlds most elite athletes are pigeon toed! Apparently in running, it's an asset :)

My ped told me dd has flat feet. Both her feet lean in, and sometimes it looks as though she's pigeon toed, but other times it doesn't. Just like you described. My dd is not yet 2, and the ped said to wait it out a little bc she's too young to do anything for it right now bc it could fix itself. It's hard to see it, but when we walk around on the deck and I see her foot prints from the pool water, u can clearly see no arch, compared to mine. The ped said just get good supporting shoes.

I've used Lewis before for my daughter, but for foot stuff (for me, but he mostly does work with children) Dr. Jeffrey Bonneville has been pretty awesome. He is at New York Orthotic & Prosthetic Associates, LLC in New Hyde Park.
