Need a car seat recommendation
I'm looking to get a new seat for DS1 b/c DS2 is just about done with the infant carrier and I'm going to give him DS1's Marathon.
DS2 is 3 and he's about 30 pounds and 36 inches. I'm looking for something that will eventually convert to a highback booster and then backless booster so that we don't have to buy him another seat. We have a Mazda 5.
Any recommendations? Thank!

Any of those seats will work. Ideally you want something that will allow your dc to be harnessed until 5/6 and can sit up correctly in the seat all of the time.

With your child's stats, unless they're extremely long in the torso, any of these seats will get them to a safe boostering age! !

Re: Need a car seat recommendation
I had the britax marathon for both my boys 3 and 2. I'm having another baby so it wont all fit. I replaced my 3 yr old britax (still saved it for the new baby) with a diono radian 120. Omg I love it. Narrow and my DS is super comfy and he is a big 3 yr old 43 lbs

Diono Radian RXT. Great rating, narrow, and converts to a booster.

Need a car seat recommendation
For a foward facing use only I wouldn't bother with a Radian. They are typically recommended for extended rear facing or a 3 across situation with an infant or toddler that is rear facing. Unfortunately most times they are outgrown in harness mode not much before being outgrown in booster mode.
A good, narrow, long lasting (10 year expiration) foward facing/high back booster/ no back booster that is about $100 is the Harmony Defender. It is typically only sold at Walmart but is currently out of stock. You can however call the manufacturer directly and order from them.
