ummm WHY am I relactating?

So DS is just over a year old & I stopped pumping completely a while ago, it's been months now since I dried up completely. All of a sudden the other day my boobs felt fuller & heavier & hurt just a little... thought nothing of it... this morning my shirt was wet with BM & I leaked a bit during the day too, and my boobs still feel heavy. And there's been no nipple stimulation of any kind either in the past week or so Also I've been bleeding/spotting on & off throughout the month since I had my first pp period at the beginning of July. I wanted to TTC again soon but I guess my hormones are pretty wacky right now so it won't be happening.

Have you ever heard of lactating for no reason??? WHAT THE HECK. I know I need to see the gyn anyway but beyond that I'm wondering if this is totally unusual. I am sure I was totally dried up. Also could this be related in any way to the bleeding/spotting over the past month? I've been trying to find info online but haven't come across much. I'm a little freaked out.
