Where to Eat in Lancaster (Dutch Wonderland)

I need somewhere to have a late dinner after preview hours at DW (around 8pm) with kids, somewhere for lunch & dinner the next day and possibly the 3rd day.

Suggestions? Lunch can be something quick.

There are tons of restaurants up and down the road that DW is on. Cracker Barrel is a favorite of ours. We do Red Robin too.

Sonic is right across the street for lunch
Cracker Barrel, Red Robin, Applebee's, some chain steakhouse, etc are up the road

Not sure where you're staying but there is a restaurant in the Best Western Eden Resort if you're staying there. That's where we ate after the preview since we were staying there, I think it's called Garfields.

If you're interested in a buffet, we like Miller's. It's not amazing food but it's decent and huge. We feel like we HAVE to do a buffet while we're there just because there is nothing like it at home. We've done breakfast and dinner there, both were good. If you're lucky you can sit by the windows and get a nice view of cornfields, which is nice since you're in Amish Country.

We ate at Red Robin on our preview night. We did it before the preview though.

If you want a unique experience, Good N Plenty is awesome. They have a la carte dining and family style dining. We did family style and its basically a big room with big tables and they just bring out whatever. When we were there it was apple butter, whipped butter, cottage cheese, cole slaw, 2 kinds of homemade bread, then turkey, ham, gravy, meatloaf, fried chicken, corn, green beans, mashed potatoes, noodles with brown butter, some other stuff i cant remember. and then dessert was homemade ice cream, a few kinds of pies, cheesecake, some pudding thing, etc. food was great and experience was nothing like home. then they have a full bakery and shop downstairs, an extensive gift shop, a small farm outside with food to feed the animals, a small playground, etc. but they close at 8pm (5pm on sundays). we built it into our trip bc we didnt have time to go last year. google for their website, it has a coupon for $2 off pp

Shady Maple is awesome but they close by 8 for dinner. Its about 30 min from DW but you must experience it for breakfast, lunch or dinner at some point during your trip. Its so inexpensive and the biggest smorgasbord you have ever seen in your life. A huge gift shop downstairs as well. Kids will love it. I also agree with Millers smorgasbord too which is about 10 min from DW but they close early as well.

We've been to Good N Plenty twice and it definitely lives up to its name! Highly recommend it!
