What age did your DS wipe themselves?
My DS will be 4 in Sept. & has been potty trained since 3.
Curious to know when I should start teaching him how.

My 3 year old wipes himself. He potty trained at 25 months and was wiping shortly before his 3rd birthday. So almost a year after training.

DS will be 4 in September and he just started wiping himself about a month ago. He's been potty trained (during the day) since early June.

It wasn't until he was 5 that he really got the hang of doing it properly. He is almost six and maybe once every few months he will ask for help?

What age did your DS wipe themselves?
She had to learn at 3. School required her to be potty trained at 3. And since they couldn't go into the bathroom with her she had to learn. She mastered it by 4 I'd guess. At 5 I am still on her about #2 and doing a good job of both sides. She is very sensitive and if she doesn't wipe properly or if she does it too roughly she pays dearly.
But no skid marks so she's doing a decent job! :)

Ds is 2.5 and has been trained for a week. He wants to wipe so I let him and just follow up. He actually is doing a good job so far

At 3 he was doing it on his own in daycare, but at almost 5 a few months before kindergarten i started making sure he can do it on his own at home.
When I do laundry I may find some skiddies but it's rare and I have a talk with him and go over wiping himself good and not rushing.
My niece been doing since 4.

He always tried but I had to assist by 4 he could do it and I trusted he got the job done.

she wipes now at 3 but always calls me in for #2 she sometimes tries with #2 but I always have to wipe her.

What age did your DS wipe themselves?
My ds just finally got potty trained. He's 3 and tries to wipe himself. I tell him he's doing a good job then finish it up with a wet wipe. He is now standing to pee which is so fun to clean up. But I'm so proud of him!
