DD won't eat...
I have a 16 mo old DD who was an excellent eater. For the last couple of months she has been so picky with what she eats and in the last couple of weeks it has gotten worse.
I cook everything from pasta, mac & cheese, chicken cutlets, meatballs, veggies, fish sticks, etc. Sometimes she takes a few bites and just throws the rest on the floor. Luckily she loves fruit, pizza and bread.
I am mad, sad & frustrated at the same time. I have thrown away so much food in the last few months.
Is this a faze? I don't know what else to cook for her. Please help

I'd keep giving whatever you normally do. They go through phases. And if they are hungry they will eat.

Total phase. DS who went through a faze where he threw everything on the floor. I begin to give him a tiny bit at a time, and once he ate that he got more. It stopped him from throwing food on the floor, and began eating again.

DD won't eat...
Dd has also been doing this. It is very frustrating and I often make myself crazy that she isn't eating. I just keep offering her Things

Re: DD won't eat...
DS went from eating EVERYTHING at 10.5 months, then after the stomach virus gave up on most meat and veggies. HE started eating more stuff recently, then this week he is worse than EVER! I totally feel your pain

It's a phase, it may last a few mos. DD got like that too. So picky, ate like a bird. I was so frustrated. She's now 3 and lately has been eating like an animal.

Totally normal. At our one year appt our pedi warns us of this. Some days they eat great, some not at all. You could have good weeks or not. They get pickier and a lot of the time they are playing and don't want to take a break to eat.

Phase. Mine eats great at daycare but I'm lucky if we get 5 bites at dinner.

Re: DD won't eat...
Kids change. My ds has always been particular about what he likes. I find with him that if he doesn't like something, regardless of hunger, it gets throw on the floor. He just won't eat. However, for the food he does like, he eats best when very hungry.
