We're picking up my MIL from the airport Fri night and then going to Lancaster for the weekend because we have to be out of our house. I have rooms at Eden booked for Sat and Sun night (we plan to head home Mon night) but they didn't have availability Fri night so I figured we will stay somewhere cheap the first night either in Lancaster or somewhere in between.

I'm torn between driving all the way to Lancaster Fri night, checking in late (probably after midnight) and being in Lancaster early Sat am or staying somewhere partway there, doing something in that area Sat morning, and continuing to Lancaster later on Sat (either during DS afternoon nap or late-morning, depending on how far we are). We plan to do a full day at Dutch and spend some time hanging out at Eden and doing things in Lancaster.

If we werent bringing my MIL I would consider stopping at Sesame on the way down as we are season passholders (its still an option I guess) but DH doesnt feel right having his mom pay for a ticket if we're only going for a few hours and not the full day. We took DS to please touch recently. Better to have the extra time in Lancaster (even if it means a longer drive Fri night)?
