NSLIJ All About Women OB/GYN...which doctor?

Hey mamas! My sister is due to give birth via c-section in 2 months with her 2nd child. They're giving her the option to pick the day and which doctor will delivery her baby.

Her first time Dr. Miller did the c-section but he's not with the practice anymore. When I had my son Dr. Cafaro did the c-section and I was very happy with him.

There is also Dr. Rosenberg and the new doctor Dr. McNally. Can anyone give feedback...good or bad...for which doctor she should choose? Personally I think she can't go wrong with any of them.

TIA!

Dr Cafaro did both my c-sections and I LOVE him!!! Dr Rosenberg is my main OBGYN in the practice and I love him as well. He did my SIL's c-section and she said nothing but great things about him. I don't know the new Dr at all so i would probably go with Cafaro or Rosenberg.

ETA: Dr Rosenberg, from what my SIL told me, was more calming before her section. He came in the room before her spinal and talked her up and when she started freaking out crying he calmed her down before doing anything. Where as Dr Cafaro, from my experience, was more let's get to it and that's it. Either way though, I think both are wonderful drs.

funny you say that cause i had the opposite experience!! Rosenberg dilated me the day before and was kinda cold. and Cafaro came in at 4am in the morning to give me my options for the c-section and he was very calming. lol

Rosenberg did my c/s 2 years ago with my DS and my VBAC this past May. McNally is also wonderful. I don't think you could go wrong with either one. I had a good experience with Rosenberg delivering my two, but wouldn't have an issue with McNally either.

Dr. McNally was WONDERFUL with my csec. i am so happy someone recommended her! Recovery went well and the scar is not big at all. I cannot say enough positive things. i felt totally at ease going into the OR knowing i was in good hands.

Miller delivers both of my boys before he left the practice.

ROSENBERG SAVED MY LIFE LAST YEAR. Lump in my breast at 33. He took it seriously. Stage 2b breast cancer.

My friend had a baby delivered by McNally last week and she really liked her.

Dr rosenberg was my main dr and delivered DS2 i have also seen cafaro for some preggo visits and for other checkups/issues and i like both equally.

Rosenberg preformed my c-s and i am very happy with how it went.

I picked the practice for Cafaro but love all three. McNally has the best bedside manner, but she is pregnant (around 31 weeks) so probably not the best option. Dr. Rosenberg did my c section and was great. He would have been my last choice of the three going into it, but he was amazing. I had a rough pregnancy (hospitalized many times before delivery, and once after the birth), and they really all are great.

I had Rosenberg deliver both my sons but vaginally. I personally love him. I'm due with my 3rd and if it happened I needed a c/s I'd want him to do it.

Dr Rosenberg delivered my first two kids and I absolutely love him. I just had my third and Rosenberg was suppose to induce me but I went into labor on my own and dr McNally was on call. She was really great and I was happy with her. That said they are all amazing- you can't go wrong!
