Do you alter the vaccine schedule?
I follow the doctors schedule. Having a child die because they didn't get their vaccine is very frightening to me. I am aware that it is a rarity, but that is not a chance I am willing to take. Again, this is MY decision, so please don't bark at me!!

I follow my ped's schedule. I trust his medical expertise over mine or the internet.

Talk to them. My Dr will 'fire' any patient who doesn't follow their schedule. I disagreed. I didn't want to leave so I came in prepared to talk. We follow CDC. After a long talk, threats and promises they gave us a chance. We kept with our schedule (CDC) and after two years old they didn't care but under two we fought nearly every visit but I got to where I only see my doc no matter what. Book months in advance, etc. Pay out of pocket, out of insurance and I didn't care. My daughter's health is MINE and not the government or the doctor's. And I was willing to leave and travel with her if I had to. I HATE being pushed around. Each child is different and should be treated as such.

I trust my pediatrician 100%, and so I do what he recommends.
