Does anyone have that one "friend" who....
over reacts on everything that happens with their kids. If your child is sick with something, then they have to one up you. Or if something happens to you or your family then something worse happens to them. How do you handle that? I usually ignore it, but something got to me today and I know the story they are saying is a big lie and they are looking for sympathy...

Me neither. My friends tend to be very low maintenance/low drama. Anyone else quickly falls into the acquaintance category at best which makes it easier to ignore that stuff.

I haaaaate "one-uppers". No matter what you say, they have something bigger or worse that happened to them.
I feel like they consistently minimize your feelings, they are very rarely compassionate or supportive, and turn every conversation to be about themselves. I have known several people like this, and I don't consider them my friends, and I usually don't share any personal stories with them.

We are mainly FB friends but on occasion we bump into each other... It may be time to delete her. Again... I thought it was just me over thinking things... But apparently there are a lot of people out there like that :(

I did, but i ended our friendship because of it. Everything with her kid had to be either better than mine (reaching milestones faster, exceeding expectations, etc.) or worse than mine (sleep, potty, food issues). One day I snapped because I realized she was never ever supportive of me and couldn't be happy for my small victories with my DC. I couldn't handle it anymore, and looking back I'm surprised I did as long as I did. She made me miserable.

I met someone like this yesterday. She was smarter than I am, her kid was younger (by 6 months but way more advanced than my daughter) she has tons of money and doesn't understand why her husband thinks she needs to go back to work. Her living situation is worse than mine (my living situation is pretty bad) and the second I spent $60 bucks on my husband for Fathers day she went on a spending spree and spent I would have to say close to $1000 dollars on clothes, shoes, baby stuff, and on her DH.
I do not see a second date in our future. 
ETA: OH I forgot the best part. Before her DC was born, she was a fashion designer. She was supposed to be on one of those designer shows but swears she didn't make it through because a friend of hers used to sleep with one of the producers and he didn't want her to be on the show bc "it would be weird".

My cousin is exactly like this. I just pretend to listen to her rant and complain about her "terrible" life. I also vent to DH about her craziness and it helps a little.

Those people are no longer in my life or friends with on fb. I used to be surrounded by people like that and it stressed me out.
Small things don't bother me but when its every time its annoying. You're kid walked at 5 months, congrats. Lol.

5 months...I sorry my girls walked at 2 weeks old. Now at 6 and 4 they are executive chefs...
