Once Upon A Treetop
My DD is invited to a party there. Problem is my mom and I will be coming back from a party together and I may need her to tag along to the party since it's on the way home. Is that terrible. Do you pay for adults there? Should I email the parents and ask?

I don't think it's a big deal. The same as if both parents attended, right? You can mention it to the host ahead of time if you feel uncomfortable, but I wouldn't think it's a bad request.

I know on a normal day you do not pay for the adults, so I'm going to assume it's the same for the birthday parties.
I would still check with the parent and make sure it's okay. I wouldn't care personally.

I just went to a party there and I don't think the adults count so I wouldn't worry
