Car seat question
My mom is going to be watching DS a couple times a week so I want to buy her a car seat for her car. DS will be about 18 months old so he'll still be rear-facing, if that matters. We have him in the Britax Marathon in our car. Do I get another convertible for my mom's car? I don't even know what comes after a convertible, to know if there are other options I should be considering.

i think you have to get another convertible car seat
i believe the one after that would be a booster type carseat which are only forward facing

Convertible. I believe he is too small/young for the next type of seat which are FF only.

K, that's what I thought. Just wanted to be sure. So now we need to buy 2 more car seats since we're also buying another car.

there are some affordable options, depending on your LO's height and weight. you should ask on the facebook group car seats for littles.
I ended up paying $116 for my graco size4me's with kohl's 30% off coupon and we will be able to RF for a very long time in that seat.

This seat will last you for a long time rear facing and then foward facing until he is mature enough to ride in a booster seat (typically between 5 & 6) so it's well worth it!
