DS1 has the regular bumpers from birth until he moved out of his crib at 2.5yo.

DS2 had them from birth until 5m and thne he started sticking his head under the bumpers to see what was going on outside the crib. THen we put them back in at 7m when he could get up to sitting and stuff on his own. And within a month we had to take them out as he was standing on them. He is now 3yo and has no bumpers still

Breathable from day 1 and kept them in until she was about 15 months old and I walked in to find she had unvelcroed them and wrapped herself up in them.
