More Feeding Questions: Getting ready for work & timing?

DS is 4.5 months he takes five 6oz bottles a day and we give him cereal with breakfast and cereal with his last bottle. Here's a typical day:

5-530am - 6oz
9am - cereal & 6oz
1pm - 6oz
4-430pm - 6oz
730-8pm - cereal & 6oz

DS has been starting to sleep later in the morning, sometimes I actually wake him up at 545am to feed him. Why would I do such a thing? Because if I don't, then we start overlapping into the time when I get up to start getting ready for work. Sometimes I think he's ready to drop a bottle, sometimes not, but I don't know how to figure out the timing. We leave the house at 745am, so would i just get up early anyway and then wait for him to wake up to feed him? If he ate at 7am, i just feel like it would be super quick for him to drink up his bottle and then have to pop into the car seat and go to daycare... any advice??

I don't remember at what age, but since it was a fast ride to daycare he just had his first bottle there. I'd get myself up super early to get ready then get the baby up. When they were that little I just brought him in his pajamas and had a change of clothes for them to change him. As he got older I would get him dressed, but would still get his first bottle at daycare. Unless he was waking screaming for a bottle I'm sure he'll be fine to wait a little.

I always got up before DS and got ready. That way no matter what time he got up I was ready to go and it wouldn't make me late.

If you don't need to leave the house until 7:45, I definitely would not wake him at 5:45 to give him a bottle. Let him sleep (sleep is super important and necessary) and just start getting yourself ready so that when he does wake up, you have the time to give him his bottle and hang out with him a bit. If he happens to sleep until it's almost time to leave, then as a PP said, you can just wait until you get there if daycare is close by. If you don't want to miss giving him his bottle though, let him sleep at least until 7.

ETA: I'm jealous your DS sleeps. My 7 month old wakes up around 6-6:30 most days. Yesterday he slept until 7:42 but that also happened to be the day I woke up at 3:03am and couldn't fall back to sleep
