Jewish moms - Passover project - added question
this week is grandparent's week. DS's teachers asked if anyone's grandparents would like to come in and read that would be wonderful. My FIL said he'd come in so when I asked the teacher what he should read she said something about Passover or Spring. Since it's a small class and we are the only Jewish family in the class I thought a cute book on Passover would be perfect, but I thought maybe some craft or something for the kids to take home would be cute too. When I read for Hanukkah I brought dreidels and gelt to the class to go home.
There's nothing too cute about Passover I can think of.
Any easy ideas or books they'd recommend?

Eta- anyone have a good printable page on Passover I can send in with my FIL. Everything I've seen online has a picture with wine in it, Hebrews putting blood on the doors, even one with young kids burning bread. Need something less morbid and no wine.

Funny! We get the PJ Library books as well, but I don't see that one. I have a bunch so will look through them.

Guess I should open the package :)
DD1 goes to nursery school at a temple, and they made a seder plate - they colored on a picture of a seder plate and then the teacher glued it under the bottom of a clear plastic plate.

My 3rd graders went crazy over matzoh so maybe bring some matzoh and applesauce cups for the kids to eat. There are also sweets in the supermarket if you wanted to do more of a candy thing. For a craft you could make your own sedar plate or afikomen covering...

Seder plate or making their own Hagaddah's could be a cute project. Also I don't have any specific suggestions but having him read a kid's Hagaddah with the story of Passover might be a nice idea?

My 3 year old just came home with a cute matzah man project. We go to a Jewish nursery school but its so cute. I can send you a pic if you want

Jewish moms - Passover project
A cover for the afikomen. We still use my cousins 20 years later. It is a brown paper lunch bag and he drew the seder plate on it. You can give them each a piece of matzoh to put in it.
