Changing a girl
When I had ds I liked to use pampers sensitive and desitin or Burt's bees.
Now that I'm having a girl I'm lost! What diapers and cream do you prefer?
Tia!

Re: Changing a girl
It shouldn't matter as long As your dd isn't allergic to a specific brand. Diapers, wipes, creams are unisex

Thanks! I just remember ds peeing up the back and having to try various brands to see what worked best. I thought maybe where he padding was would be better for girls vs boys?
Also, I heard desitin and Burt's was more difficult to clean on girls. Maybe I'm over thinking!

I have a girl and use Earth's Best diapers and triple paste or butt paste...also, I found that Huggies overnights work well for her

Changing a girl
I have a girl I used pampers swaddlers. I didn't personally like huggies she kept getting diaper rash.
I use desitin for her diaper rash, its tried and true. And most important it works the best in my opinion and for my dd. I used the others and nothing seemed to work as quickly or as good as desitin but every child is different. Just try and see what works.
I use sensitive pampers wipes. Always have so I never switched.
And I use a & d on her toosh everyday as a barrier. I used to put it on her vajajay but then it started to annoy her so I stopped.

I like pampers sensitive wipes the best, and I usually just put some Vaseline on dd unless she has signs of a diaper rash, and then I use desitin. When she was a newborn I mostly used pampers Swaddlers and pampers baby dry at night. And now I tend to use Luvs during the day and just switched to Huggies overnights for night.

DD is 1 month old and so far we've used Huggies and Pampers for diapers and wipes and either Butt Paste or Coconut Oil on her behind.

Re: Changing a girl
The only big difference I've noticed is...DD tended to go through diaper sizes much more slowly than DS is even though she was a bigger kid. I noticed he pees upwards and would wake up with a wet belly so he's wearing HUGE sizes, especially at night to keep all the pee in. My theory is that girls pee "down" so they are peeing right into the absorbent core of the diaper and boys pee "up" where there is less protection.

Re: Changing a girl
I've gone through all the different brands of diapers and always go back to Pampers. They're just softer on her sensitive skin. I do only use Huggies wipes, though. They're the best, IMO. I also love the blue Desitin when/if she gets a little diaper rash. Sometimes, I'll use a little cornstarch after her bath, but that's a rarity.

Changing a girl
when dd was born she was in pampers swaddlers until around 4 months, then we switched her to target diapers until she started leaking through them around 6 months, then we switched to huggies.
as far as creams, we use Vaseline unless she has a rash in which case we use desitin

Re: Changing a girl
Boy mom first then girl mom.
I used the same diapers, wipes and cream for both.
I always use Pampers sensitive wipes. When they were babies, I used Pampers Swaddlers Sensitive diapers. I found they were softer than the regular Swaddlers. Once they were more mobile, I switched to Pampers Cruisers.
As for creams, I used Triple Paste and cover it with a layer of A&D ointment. Always works well for me.

burts bees is good too but it does linger and is a bit messy/hard to remove with my DD.
you just have to see what works for her, like you figured out for your ds.

Re: Changing a girl
Every diaper change I just used Aquafor. She rarely got a rash. When she did I'd use Butt Paste or Triple Paste with Aquafor on top.
Diapers were Luvs. Cheapest.
