had car seats checked with State Troopers...
today and just wanted to rave.
2 cars were brought there and they were super thorough, helpful and showed us a ton of things of the right and wrong way to do things. Answered a ton of questions about curtain airbags and all other things I felt silly about and were so patient.
Highly recommend!

Where did you go? Like which town? I'm pg with Baby #2 and even though DS was in infant seat not long ago (he's 19 months, so about a year ago), I would like to confirm it is all correct. Thanks!!

right in Farmingdale on 110 in Republic Airport (State Troopers precinct is in there)

Just call to make an appointment. It took a while for the Trooper to call back but he took the appointment ASAP

Just make sure the people helping are certified. Many people like to help and think they are doing the right thing, but not all troopers, cops, and or firefighters are certified. I know a few people who had them done at a local fire house, and when I checked none of them where certified, they thought they where just doing the right thing.
