If you don't cook....

Just beginning table foods.

I love to cook but I don't go crazy on things DD may or may not eat anyway. Some of DD's early, easiest foods were
breakfast- frozen waffles, scrambled eggs, toast, diced banana
lunch - grilled cheese (sliced cheddar on a slice of bread in the toaster oven), cheese quesadilla (small tortilla with shredded cheddar in a pan with a tiny bit of oil, fold it over, brown on both sides), yogurt, fruit cups, rolled up ham with crackers, pbj or pb on crackers
dinner - earth's best mini meatballs are DD's favorite, pop a bunch in the microwave for less than a minute. homemade or frozen chicken nuggets (skinnytaste has a yummy easy recipe), dr. praegers fish sticks. Sometimes I do a quesadilla for dinner and add a little of whatever DH and I are having (taco meat, ham, chicken, etc). For sides- pasta with butter, minute rice makes single serve microwave rice, baked sweet potato. Veggies are very often french cut green beans or peas (buy frozen, add a little water, and pop in the microwave).

Thanks! I think is part of it too. To make all this stuff for dd, which I have done, and then she just looks at me and won't eat it.

Re: If you don't cook....
I eat leftovers or lean cusines most nights b/c DH works and I'm not cooking for just me. My girls wont eat whet I'd cook for me anyway (stir fry, fajitas, etc), but they will eat ziti and pasta dishes.
Breakfast: pancakes, eggs, waffles, French toast, oatmeal, fruit cups
Lunch: grilled cheese, sunbutter or PBJ, turkey/cheese sandwiches, turkey, cheese, crackers, cucumbers, strawberries, soup drained and rinsed so its not too messy
Dinner: frozen turkey meat balls, pasta, man n cheese, nuggets, tater tots, steamed carrots or broccoli or peas
