Trying to figure out where to place my first grader next year. We loved his experience at his current school and haven't heard positive things about the next school, ( too many students, sterile environment, is your kid isn't the normal 80% they are lost in the shuffle). Are there any parents out there that have a child that needs extra help and attention (not special services)? We are also looking into a private school, but that is a large financial commitment. Any feedback would be appreciated! I could be over thinking things, it is just first grade, but my boy had such a hard transition last year, I don't want it to happen again.
