Godparents & Baby Christening gifts?
Did you get anything for the godparents of your LO's?
Also, for those who have DS's, did anyone get their son a piece of jewelry for the christening?

DS Christening is next weekend and I was going crazy what to get the Godparents until someone told me the gift is your child. When we asked the Godfather, it was during Christmas time and we gave him a Godfather ornament. For the Godmother I just ordered this.

Godparents & Baby Christening gifts?
We did not get anything for the godparents. I have never even heard of this.
my DS godfather bought him a cross as a gift.

I didn't get anything for the Godparents, but the first christmas after the christening, I gave them both a framed pic of each of them holding the baby.
I was just a Godmother and didn't get a gift. My nephew was wearing his brother's outfit, so I bought him a Saint Leo medal (his name is Leo) and had his name and christening date engraved on the back. Although it's a necklace, I bought more as a keepsake. His Godfather got him a cross necklace to wear on christening day.

We do gifts in our family. I got earrings when I was my nephews godmother. For our godparents, we gave the godfather autographed sports memorabilia and the godmother an amazon gc because she is a very fussy person.

Godparents & Baby Christening gifts?
My SIL and Brother are super generous to this little one and she isn't here yet. My SIL is even going thru religious classes to get her sacraments. So for when they come meet the baby for the 1st time I am getting my brother a money clip with his initials and put love baby's names. For my SIL I am getting an Alex an ani godmother bracelet.

When DS1 was christened we gave them (DH's brother and our sister in law) a framed picture of DS and it had a poem on one side about being godparents.
