size discrepencies in kids clothes
I ordered from carters online during the presidents day sale because it was a great sale. I ordered a few 24 month tshirts. Well few are significantly smaller than others. All tshirts, same labeled size... different sizes. Really annoys me. Rant over.

Yep. I used to shop only at Carters, but a few months ago, I ordered my DD (5) pair of the same jammies, same size, different prints/colors, and (3) were ok, and (2) were totally off.

And of course they were my favorite shirts too. I'm thinking of exchanging them for 2T. It is Carter's so they will probably shrink a lot.

Carters customer service is really good. I had a sizing problem and they refunded me and paid for return shipping. I would contact them and tell them your problem.

thanks. That would save me a trip to the store. I mean, these are unmistakenly smaller in width and length. Looks almost like a 18 month shirt.

I find some issues too with carters. Some tops are wider and looser than others. And their pants are all different lengths, depending on the style of the pant. She's fitting in 6, 9, and 12 month right now, depending on the style. Still, carters fits her better than anything else so I keep going back anyways.

I have found that overall they are pretty consistent but everyone in a while I get a outfit that seems to run small.

Their sizes are all over the place! I was just there and the 18 mo thirst looked like 9 month. Sheesh! I did not buy any.

yes ive noticed that different prints run significantly smaller from Carters. Its strange. Also different fabrics size different too

also an FYI- Childrens place, Gap and Old Navy run extremely small. I always have to get my child 2 sizes up in the stores. Its crazy

I think gap always runs big. I agree with children's place and Old Navy. Though I got my son size 4/5 sweat pants from children's place and they where so short. So I got him a 5/6 and they are so long and huge. Such a big difference in one size up.
