Which Pack and Play did you register for?
I decided on the Joovy room 2-it is more of a traditional play pen and it can be used up to 40 pounds. It is easy to set up and comes with a nice bag to carry it.

We have a Baby Trend, I got it b/c at the time it was the only one that had a zipper on the side so that you could store things under the platform when it was raised (great for when we traveled). That was about the only good thing about it. It's a hassle to take down and it never seems to fit in the bag the way it's supposed to. We also have a graco and its 10x better!

If you plan on traveling a lot with it and using it as a travel crib I highly recommend the baby bjorn travel crib. It's amazing! So lightweight and sets up in one swing of my arms. Plus it has a real mattress and does not have a bar down the middle. The mattress goes on the floor, not raised, so it can be used up to an average of 3 years.
We have even flown with it. Put it in a bigger suitcase and put dd's clothes on top. It's only 11 lbs.

A few friends recommended ingenuity instead.. bc it packs up easier.. plan on using it in our bedroom for the first 6 weeks as a bassinet, then it's going to probably stay at my moms.. so I feel like the play yard/ changer part will be helpful to her. The best part of this one is it's washable.
