Car Seat Question
I recall reading somewhere that certain car seats become less safe when a child is over a certain weight. Does anyone know anything further about this? My next child is due in the middle of September. At first, we will put her in the infant seat and my son will remain in his convertible car seat. But she'll outgrow the infant seat within a few months and we will need to get a new seat. Now, my son is a big boy and, if my recollection is correct, I want to be sure that we have him in the safest seat possible.
Does anyone remember this?

Re: Car Seat Question
I think its with seats like the Marathon. They are not supposed to be used with LATCH after 48 lbs (since the seat can be used to 65) they then need to be seatbelted in. Is that what you are talking about?

That sounds right. But does that mean that the Marathon is the safer seat or does it mean you need a seat that can be belted in?

Re: Car Seat Question
To my knowledge they can all be belted in but after the child reaches a certain weight the seat is less safe using LATCH and must be belted in.
