FTM with 5 month old/ feeding question

my daughter is drinking about 25 oz of milk a day (five, 5oz bottles), having 2 tablespoons in every other bottle for a total of 6 tablespoons (she has reflux and needs formula thickened), a whole jar of fruit in the AM and a jar of veggies at night. Do you think this is average? too much/too little for a 5 month old?

That sounds about what DS was drinking as far as formula. We didn't start solids until a little later. If she's full, she'll let you know!! Better than her being hungry!

I'd say its a little above average for her age (a lot of babies don't get cereal or foods until 6 months) but her body is probably demanding it if she's eating it all. Kids are all different!

Trust me, you don't want to be on the other end. I spent the last two months getting my third evals and therapy for not gaining and eating enough. Thankfully at 7 months we are starting to turn the corner!

At that age DS was eating a little less food but taking more formula. I think it sounds about right for a 5 month old!

IMO they eat what they want. There is no right or wrong. At that age if they are hungry then they should eat.

At 5 months DS was having about 30 oz of formula a day, a fruit for breakfast and a veggie for dinner.... well we started doing breakfast sometime between 5-6 months.
