when did you give your toddler a pillow and blanket to sleep with?
What age did you give your little one a pillow and blanket to sleep with? Are there special little pillows to buy or did you just use a standard pillow? My ds will be 2 next month and still sleeps in a crib if that matters! Thanks!

I have been giving DS a blanket for a few weeks now (he's 2.5) but it only stays on for a little while and then he rolls around and the blanket gets thrown off.
He just moved into a toddler bed so I am going to try a bedding set with pillow and comforter and see if he likes it.
I think every kid is different with this stuff - its more about personal preference.

DS has had a blanket since just under a year.
He is almost 2 and no pillow yet.

My DD has had a knit blanket (loosely knit so it's more breathable), since just before she turned 2.
We are moving to a toddler bed soon, and that's when I'll give her a pillow.
I was going to ask the same thing about if toddler sized pillows existed.

How did he do with the transition to toddler bed. I'm hoping to move DD out if the crib in Dec, and she will be 2.5.

ds has both, but barely uses either. He will ocasionally fall asleep on the pillow with me while im reading him a story, but he ends up butt up on his belly often.
prob gave him both around 18 months when he moved to a big boy bed (he climbed out of crib and nearly broke a limb)

i'm in no hurry to give him one, but i feel like a regular one would take up half the crib!

I just gave my twins, who will be 3 in December, light blankets about two weeks ago. No pillows yet and they are still in their cribs.

Dd is 12 months and I've been putting a small blanket on her. Sometimes in her sleep she bunches it up and ends up using it as a pillow.

DD took a blanket to bed with her between 6-8 months old (middle of a very cold winter).
DD received a pillow around 16-months old as she was using her stuffed animals as pillows up to that point.
We purchased this pillow for her:
My First Toddler Pillow
It comes with the pillow, a velvet like pillow cover and a pillow case.

My 17m DD getsa blanket at daycare.
We only use a sleepsack at home. No pillow, no blanket.
