I just bought it today and put it on... the way I have it, I couldn't put the visor thing up (I forget what its called - ya know, to block the sun, rain, wind etc) is that right or is it on wrong?

Yes! It works! I just put mine on 2 days ago for DS. I Googled it and found instructions to basically take the entire top part of the stroller apart so you can wrap the elastic around the back. I can't really recline the stroller this way, but at least DS will be warm! The other way to do it is to not use the elastic, but then it would keep falling around DS's head which was not ideal either.
