recommend your affordable (<$200) cribs
DH and I were leaning towards IKEA since they have good reviews in the baby bargains book. But we recently saw a crib for $199 at BBB. so now we are confused.
We are not interested in a lifetime crib, since we don't have the space to upgrade the child to a full-size bed.
So we just want something safe and durable that will last the next few years until the baby is ready for a twin.
thanks!

Re: recommend your affordable (<$200) cribs
A lot of people sell their cribs on Facebook buy and sell groups. I got one for free on the LI Nassau/Suffolk Buy and Sell Group on Facebook because I lost my old one from Sandy. Many people sell cribs in great shape and inexpensive.

We have this one: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00264HWKY/ref=oh_details_o02_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 been with us for 2.5 years now and going to use it with LO 2 in 6 months. Still looks brand new.
I also like the StokCraft ones: http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_ss_sc_0_14?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=storkcraft+crib&sprefix=storkraft+crib%2Caps%2C120&rh=i%3Aaps%2Ck%3Astorkcraft+crib

Re: recommend your affordable (<$200) cribs
I have 3 Ikea cribs (for over 2 years now). They are wonderful.
They are rated highly, are durable, convert & are easy to put together. They also look cute!
I would never buy another crib again.
Shake one of those $200 cribs you see in a store and shake an Ikea crib. The Ikea cribs are much more sturdy.

I can't find it online but we got ours from JCP for under $200. Or it was $250. In any case, it was inexpensive and I'm very happy with it.
JCP has the Jenny Lind crib which is a classic, IMO, for $170.
I liked JCP because everything was in stock and I didn't have to wait 6 plus weeks for delivery.

We have the graco lauren crib. Bought it 3 years ago when my son was born & will use it for this baby. I think with the 20% off, it was $150 at Babies R Us! We've had no problems with it!
