Is it wrong
That I get very angry when I see certain pictures on FB? There is one friend who is currently "whoopsies" preggo and every time I see a picture of her referred to as such I just get this incredible anger - only when the pictures refer to her as pregnant.... When it was first announced, I would get very sad at the postings, now just angry... is that the normal progression of grief? Sadness then anger? I'll have to consult my textbooks.

I try not to spend too much time on Facebook because I find it makes me feel sad when I see babies plastered all over the place

I stay on it because there are so many big birthdays coming up in my group of friends and that's the main form of invitation and organization everyone uses.. Ugh I am so tired of it. I literally screamed at my computer this afternoon - if any neighbors were home I'm sure they heard me.

yea totally, it really stinks seeing everyone getting pregnant and having their second and third child and I'm still stuck.
Don't get me wrong I'm happy for them but I get so down on myself. I guess I just can't help it.
Hang in there Jess it'll happen for us. Our journey is just a little different.

been there. a lot.
I even ignored ppl's announcements of pregnancy in person. just didnt say anything. I felt horrible, but just couldnt help myself. felt a big void and green jealousy mixed with anger at everyone. esp if the entire room would start gushing abt the girl's belly.
I started letting go of this feeling during my break btwn the live IVF in March and this Sept FET.
ehh what can ya do, u know?

I am fine with prego people on FB and babies. I do get upset when I see pregnancy announcements. I am happy for them but it just reminds me how difficult this journey has been for us.
Its totally normal to feel the way you do.

It consumed me. Thankfully I don't have Facebook so it wasn't in my face like that. I would avoid things though. A week after my first ivf didn't work I found out that dhs best friend and wife were preg with their 2nd. 6 months after they had their first! Nobody wanted to tell me bc they knew I would flip out. Needless to say I did.

I had a similar experience recently, a family friend is pregnant, just a few months, but we all know… And I completely avoided talking about that subject and I found that I was trying to stay away from her at a family function.
I felt horrible about it but it was just the way I acted and I couldn't help it at that time. She will be at my house for Thanksgiving so there is no avoiding it this time!

Definitely normal! It happens to me too. Saturday night we went to DH's friend's house and one of the couples there announced they're pregnant with there 4th child! Apparently each child was a 'surprise.' The wife was not happy and had 2 glasses of wine while stating, 'I don't know how this keeps happening.' Oh, and she's a nurse!
