Oh I need to complain about my MIL
We are on vacation since last week, still away actually, but I needed to complain to people who would understand...
Yesterday DH and I went to get the Quad that was being repaired at a local shop. My mom calls to let me know something, apparently she had just called here for us and she talked to my MIL... my mom lets me know that my MIL and Emma were making a cake and she gave Emma and Jeremy the mixers to lick. HELLOOOOOOOO RAW EGG!!! O M G. You would think that my NURSE MIL would have more brains than to give her 4 year old granddaughter and 18 month old grandson something with raw egg in it. I guess the other day when they were making cookies and she was letting Emma eat the cookie dough and I said "Emma don't eat the raw dough I don't want you to get sick" meant nothing. W T F MIL??!!

Sorry. I think its so hard for the older generation to realize how different so many things are raising kids now a days. I know my mom doesn't understand half of what I want done for Miranda and I'm sure she would do the same with cake batter and cookie dough. I still lick the beaters  I guess I'll have to remember to do that in private.

OMG WHAT IS THIS WORLD COMING TO! NEXT THING YOU KNOW THEY WILL BE TELLING US THAT SMOKING CAUSES CANCER!!!
