Baby food storage
So DD is not a great eater for dinner. They tell me at daycare she eats great! And then for dinner ehhhh it'll be a couple of bites...or makes a ton of faces. The cook the food and then puree it at her daycare..so I am wondering if now she wants real food and not the jarred stuff.
I have a bullet so maybe will try to use that instead of buying something new. But what do you use to store the food? Does anyone have any good recipes that are simple. I am not much of a cook...but want to try to expand what she eats.
She loves fruit...and the fruit and veggies mix. But veggies and meat are ehhhh. I don't know if it is the meal itself or she just is not a dinner fan. She east breakfast and lunch no problem.

I've used the bullet to mash up a banana and add spinach to it. I do not store, just make and serve. I have others store in ice cube trays. You can do the same with a sweet potato, squash or regular potato.

I like to buy pouch foods but they're expensive so I take a look at whats in the back and I just make it myself. I usually boil or steam the food. I made her a quinoa with kale apples onion garlic and salmon. It sounds weird but she loved it.
I puree everything in my food processor, if you have a blender it works too and I freeze everything in silicone trays (Tovolo Perfect ice cube trays each cube will be one oz)
forgot the picture of the tray

Re: Baby food storage
potatoes just bake in the oven for about 45 mins until soft, transfer to a blender or food procrssor and puree. Add water if to thick or not pureeing.
I have a pot that has a steamer insert but if you have a colander that would work over a pot of boilong water. Maybe an inch or 2 of water. Bring to a boil set, steamer tray over and steam until soft. Transfer to blender and blend.
I bought a set of ice cube trays from buy buy baby with lids. They are for baby food. I fill up each cube and freeze. Transfer to a ziploc bag and keeo in freezer. When I need one, if I remember i take out and put in fridge, if not I pop in micorwave for 30 sec and its defrosted. or in hot water
