Transfer tomorrow-so anxious.

NS called me yesterday telling me i was holding off until tomorrow for a 5 day. they retrived 6 eggs from 6 follices and all fertilized. they havent giving me the grading yet, is that normal? anyway...they pushed me to a 5 day saying they all still look great etc. i am really nervous given my previous nightmare getting all the way to transfer and cancelling the day of. i didnt get a chance to try accupuncture. Ive been eating pineapple, drinking raspberry tea i dont know what else to do at this point. i guess tomorrow we will discuss on how many to put back. any advice would be greatly appreciated. thanks for the support.

Just had my transfer yesterday. They will give you the grading the day of the transfer. If they pushed it to day 5 that's a good sign. I only had two so they put mine back in day 3. Just need to relax and try no to stress. ;)

Your doing everything you can possibly do, don't worry about the acupuncture, and if they pushed you to day 5 your embies are doing great too I'm not sure they give you the grading until the day of transfer unless you ask.

Did you discuss how many you and dh want to put back? My first I tried to get dh to put back 3 and he was not on board at all. Only 2 made it to ET so it didn't matter. This time we agreed that unless they were excellent quality, we would put back 3 if we had them.

I wish you the best of luck tomorrow!! Maybe today do things to try and take your mind off of it for a little while. (I know...almost impossible) Mani, pedi, massage, go to movies....

thanks ladies. This is my first time so im confused. The dr did mention if the embies look good and make it to day 5 they like putting one back. i just feel like going through all this just to put back one is not appealing to me. I am ok if god blesses me with twins. so i feel after all this i would want to put back two i would be content. i guess i will know tomorrow if all 6 made it to blast. my hubby and i feel the same. what are your thoughts?

That's how I felt. When I had my first consult RE said they would put back one. I told him even if they were perfect I wanted to transfer 2 and he was ok with that.

My first IVF cycle, we put 3 back- 3 made it through and although they were a good rating- a b, they were growing slowly- 4 and 6 cell. We out all 3 back and none took. This time only two made it so I put the two back. ;). I felt the same way- to only put one back with m age and low Amh etc didn't seem right to me. Hang in there!!
