I got the regular one... figured it would last even longer that way.
AND... a little "trick". I actually bought the foam inserts on eBay- a lot cheaper! just search for "pottery barn anywhere chair" and a bunch come up. Then I only had to get the cover from Pottery Barn. I saved probably like $30-40 that way, and its working fine.
I would think a year old or after is a great time to get them one!

Just figured I'd share that I just got DD a cute upholstered chair at homegoods for $50. It's a perfect size for her to get in and out of at 17 months but she still has plenty of room to grow into it. I've never actually seen the anywhere chair in person so I can't really compare but I knew I was never going to splurge on the real thing.

I'm getting DD one for her 1st bday. Check out UglySofa.com for a knock off version. If you search your DC's name they even have ones already embroidered for even cheaper. They also have 20% off codes on their fb every now and then.
