Leap Pad
Hi!
so I just got a great deal on a Leap Pad 2 for DS on Ebay. 
I'm not giving it to him until Christmas... but just curious... if you have one for your DC- what are their favorite things to do with it? FAvorite apps to download? How does it all work?
He is just about to turn 3...

I do like the Leap Pad. Lots of learning games as well as books, apps, music, etc. My ds does like his leap pad ( he received it when he was 2 1/2, but once he received his kindle it fell to the waste side and he uses it only when his kindle is out of batter life.
For me the biggest gripe was how much the cartridges, games, apps, music cost. Considering all the apps I get for free via kindle fire or very low cost (under $2.00) the cost just doesn't seem justified. I bought most of the cartridges with coupons, coupon codes and sales and still cost me a good bit. I recently bought him two apps when Leap frog had their 40% off sale. One of the apps I got him was exactly alike a game I got for free for his kindle fire.

and Thanks! yeah... I looked after I bought it and saw how expensive the apps and stuff are.... guess we'll have to see how much he likes it and go from there

dd has a few games for it but she really likes the stuff that it came with.
she loves taking pictures and coloring in art studio and that dog game.
