gift for new baby twin boys
My cousin just had twin boys last night. I want to get something off her registry, but also want to do a little something personalized as well. The bris will be in a week so need to order something fast and that will come fast as well.
Any ideas? Thoughts? Best gift you got that was necessary?

I was also going to suggest monogrammed towels or something along those lines. I LOVED all the embroidered/monogrammed/personalized stuff I got for my babies. And like PP said, it's the type of stuff I would never buy. When my first son was born, a friend gave me a huge, thick, really soft hooded towel embroidered with his first and middle name and birthdate. I absoutely LOVED it! He's 3.5 now and we still use it for him!

Boat tote from LL Bean. I use the one I got with my son's name all the time. I got one for a friend and it came very fast

I have twins & think that personalized items are very nice but when it comes to bibs/towels I am just grabbing & not looking for who's towel is whos.
I would say a tote bag, blankets or even shirts for the holiday if you want to go that route.

i like coordinated clothing. sometimes its so hard and time consuming to find, and it gives a little individuality rather than buying two of the exact same thing.

I got the pottery barn anywhere chair when dd was born from my sister. I love it and it is perfect in her room. Of course she will grow into it but is great now for pics. It was delivered very fast.

Someone bought my twins the puzzle step stool with their names on it. One of my favorite gifts. As for an in the moment gift, my must haves were:
2 boppys
2 fisher price bouncers
Twin my best friend (if breast feeding)
Mine were in the nicu for a month, but either way a friend came over and cleaned my kitchen! Priceless!
Gift cards to local places that deliver. Invaluable.
Giving the mama time with her new babies and not having to worry about all of the other stuff. That is what it is really about!
